I had an exceptional and unique experience with Amber. She provided a great release for my body after previous injuries involving car accidents, bus accidents and bike accidents. I am so tight, and was experiencing discomfort in my neck, in an hour of deep tissue Amber relieved so much tightness and tension in my neck and shoulders. She practiced in a way I hadn’t felt relief before with a therapist. ABOUT AMBER
After 20 years in the dental world, I became drawn to the idea of helping others through massage after experiencing my first intraoral massage.
Having my own issues with migraines, stress headaches and sore jaw muscles, intraoral massage went deeper to unlock the hypertoned muscles that were helping to create these problems. It was something I had never experienced and rarely heard about in the dental community.
We all know how great a massage is when your neck, back and/or feet are sore, but depending on your information circle, we rarely hear about the care of facial/cranial/intraoral muscles. Excited to learn and share this with others, I went back to school to get my license in massage therapy. It was in school that I realized my love of deep tissue massage. I have always enjoyed receiving it, but in school I was able to experience the satisfaction of helping others progressively feel better, achieve greater range of motion and reduce recurrent pain through deep tissue massage.
All in all, I enjoy helping others. I appreciate witnessing a positive change in others. In my past, I found this through helping others with their dental needs, assisting dentists and working with a dental team. Today, I am able to tap into this same feeling of fulfillment through massage; by helping others relieve stress and tension with relaxation massage, by aiding in pain relief/reduction, as well as being a part of whole body wellness.
